Sweets, you either love them or just not that into them. For those of you who do…this will be a hard week, but it will be worth it! Aside from the obvious weight loss that comes from cutting down on sugar, there are more important health elements that will help you lead a healthier life.
Improvement in kidney function and reducing insulin resistance are amongst the few positive results of lowering or cutting down on sweets. So let´s not lose track of all the effort during the past few weeks, the path to reach that bikini body is coming to an end, but these are lifelong lessons that need to be maintained for long term results.
Craving sweets are a sign of mineral deficiencies such as chromium and magnesium. Instead of giving in to a chocolate or a cookie, grab some fruit instead.
